Hi Folks..
having a problem with my DVD player. It is giving "disc error" messages. Bought a DVD player cleaner disc, that didn't make a difference.
Problems seem to have started after I hit some buttons, but not sure if that is the cause.
Did shut the power off to see if machine would "re-boot." That also didn't do anything.
It is an AIWA XD-DV370
downloaded the owner's manual that I had lost, but still haven't figured anything out.
Thanks for any help (will accept shipment of a sledgehammer if nothing else works).
Jon

Re: DVD Problem
Sun, October 14, 2007 - 8:50 PMalready done...
actually, it is a good thing...
I checked the back of the unit...it was from 2000.
someone suggested I open the case and check for dust. I did that. When I plugged it back in, it short circuited completely.
It failing when it did maybe saved me from something much bigger...like a fire...
thanks
Jon
